The boyfriend some how caught my love for Bangkok as well, and we made a second trip to Bangkok together.
As I was still schooling (then), the jobless boyfriend did all the itinerary himself!
Bangkok is always improving, and this time round, their Airport railway has started! The plan was to take the City Line to Ratchaprarop, and then take a cab to the hotel.
Unfortunately, upon reaching the station, no one want to drive us. -.-’
Towing our luggage, I was determined to get to our hotel by foot.
The railway looked familiar to me, & I know we have passed by before. I took charged and declare we cross the road.

Amazingly, upon crossing, I spotted Baiyoke sky. Happily, I led the boyfriend the way to our hotel. After checking in, and dumping our luggage and stuffs, we head out to our favourite Wanton Mee joint.

The boyfriend, with his favourite coke.

We ordered the braised pork too. NOMS!
After a satisfying lunch, we went to PLATINUM MALL!!!!
After shopping for awhile, we decided to take a break at the food court at PM. Had my favourite…

HOT CHOCOLATE AND BANANA CREPE!
Later part of the evening, Boyfriend and I went to the tailor CK recommended to do some measurements.

We were hungry by then because it was wayyyyy past our dinner time.
Asked the friendly tailor for some food recommendation and he recommended us Kinnaree.
The place looked very atas, and we were dressed in tees and slippers. But, most importantly we have money right? =X
We took a table and placed our order.
The boyfriend ordered fruit punch and I had some refreshing cucumber juice.
Mine was really yummeh, by the way.

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t even a bit close to our liking.
Day 2
The boyfriend bought me to eat the famous Pink Shirt chicken rice for lunch! I am impressed by the boyfriend who led me likeapro.

The place was freaking crowded, and the food is say… Its below average.
After a food recharge, we went back to PM to continue shopping!
Hours later, we decided to flop down at Swensen for a break.

A must do when in BKK, even though I don’t really enjoy eating ice-creams.
Day 3
We went Chinatown! We were there really early and thank god the stalls were all open.
I had a very rich haul and the boyfriend was asking if I have plans to open a shop in Singapore.
I bought so much that I didn’t want to buy any more! We went scouting for our favourite braised goose! To our utmost shock, it wasn’t even opened for business yet! Luckily the lady boss invited us to take a seat inside while waiting.
The lady boss served us slightly earlier than her usual opening time.

We had the bittergourd soup, but it tasted really awfully bitter. I think we didn’t finish that.
As usual, we bought some local tidbits at Lin Zhen Xiang before hopping onto the cab back to hotel for a nap!
In the evening, we went back to our hotel to wait for the arrival of Kenneth and Stephanie – Alvin’s cousin and his GF.
After their check-in, we head out for dinner!

The price was reasonable, but I didn’t really fancy the food there. I wouldn’t go back unless anyone want to go.
Day 4
CHATUCHUK DAY!!!
In preparation for the heat at CTC, I wore a sleeveless dress. Its war baby!

Upon reaching, the boyfriend spotted his favourite quail eggs.

Walked further in, and I saw the frozen banana!
The frozen banana is dipped into hot chocolate and then coated with fillings you can choose from.

It tastes like ice cream except that it never melts! COOL HUH!
&… Its shopping time!

We weaved in and out of the lanes in the duper hot weather.

The coconut ice cream was not to be missed! There was bits of coconut inside the ice cream, and the ice cream was put in half of the coconut husk!
Just as we were about to leave CTC, we spotted this stall doing customised leather landyard. The boyfriend & I decided to make one each for our guy friends.

Alright, I shall stop here for now!
