SAIL.WITH.ME

Been awhile since I last saw this woman! Glad that she escaped KP’s claws and is now working very happily at her new company.

We had wanted to go Paragon’s PS Cafe, but it was so tiny, and plus that their menu was really limited that we went to another restaurant for dinner!

We choose Granny’s. Turned out to be quite a bad choice. The food didn’t taste that nice.

We decided to just walk down to the other branch of PS Cafe to satisfy our craving!

We were glad we went, though we felt cheated with their ‘water’. It cost $7/bottel!!!

We had apple pudding & truffle fries. We love the pudding, thou we felt that the butterscoth sauce don’t have to flood the pudding…

We choose the outdoor seating, and the ambience was like all English & cosy. Love it much yo! The bill was a tad ridiculous for the two of us with two water, a fries & dessert. $51!!!

But we will go back, for the pudding!

I can’t believe he’s actually picking a quarrel over someone whom we just recently knew.

PISSED.

Day 5

We went sightseeing! First stop was to the Maeklong Station.

We were there to see the Maeklong Railway Market! The reason why it is named the railway market is because the market is set up along the railway tracks! At the sound of the horn, all the vendors will roll in their stalls, and the train passes the market safely.

And into the market we go!

All the vendors have got wheels beneath their stalls, so when the train passes, they can wheel in.

Food that are within the limit can be placed at the ground, because it will not affect the train movement. Incredible sight!

Next, we went to the floating market! It was an incredibly hawt day.

Nothing very special… I bought my favourite mango sticky rice!

Next stop, lunch!

Our tour guide brought us to some where really off the usual tracks, and I had one of the nicest Tom Yum Goong ever!

After lunch, we head off to the Tiger Temple. All the tigers were taking their lazy afternoon naps! The entrance fees were pretty expensive, and I think its not worth it because you can only go in one by one with a personal ‘tiger keeper’. Therefore we don’t have any group picture!

Our last stop was to Erawan Waterfall. While in the car, we were planning to get to the highest level to see the waterfall.

Upon our first stairs up, we decided we shouldn’t be so ambitious, and level 5 should be fine for us.

And we climbed the uneven tracks and stones stairs. At level 3, I declare I can’t walk any further. Some how, I managed to convince myself to get to level 4.

The view was really astonishingly breathtaking. We saw many people swimming in waterfall and we swear we want to jump in too!

Love this place.

Our tour ended at the waterfall and we took our guide’s car back to Central World, where Stephy & I went crazy at NaRaYa! Thereafter, I suggest having Mac Donald for dinner!

Samurai Pork Burger taste good!

Day 6

Had wanted to bring Kenneth & Stephy to try the Wanton Mee, which unfortunately was CLOSED!

Left with no choice, we went PM food court!

Boyfriend and Kenneth ate like 30 or 40 quail eggs. Horrible!

It was this day where I finally understood WHY I couldn’t find the shoes section in PM. They moved to the third newly opened building!

Overjoyed to have finally found my shoes, I spent a great deal of time shopping there!

Night time befall us, and we were getting hungry. We went searching for the two restaurants that the boyfriend researched.

It wasn’t easy to find it, but thankfully, we found.

First, Mango Tango! We had dessert first because we found that first.

Then we found the restaurant that the boyfriend wants to try Som Tam Nua @ Siam Square Soi 5!

It was one of the best meals we had at BKK. The Tom Yum soup was good, the best two dishes we had was this, pork neck meat!

And this garlic chicken. Noms!

A must try!

The boyfriend some how caught my love for Bangkok as well, and we made a second trip to Bangkok together.

As I was still schooling (then), the jobless boyfriend did all the itinerary himself!

Bangkok is always improving, and this time round, their Airport railway has started! The plan was to take the City Line to Ratchaprarop, and then take a cab to the hotel.

Unfortunately, upon reaching the station, no one want to drive us. -.-’

Towing our luggage, I was determined to get to our hotel by foot.

The railway looked familiar to me, & I know we have passed by before. I took charged and declare we cross the road.

Amazingly, upon crossing, I spotted Baiyoke sky. Happily, I led the boyfriend the way to our hotel. After checking in, and dumping our luggage and stuffs, we head out to our favourite Wanton Mee joint.

The boyfriend, with his favourite coke.

We ordered the braised pork too. NOMS!

After a satisfying lunch, we went to PLATINUM MALL!!!!

After shopping for awhile, we decided to take a break at the food court at PM. Had my favourite…

HOT CHOCOLATE AND BANANA CREPE!

Later part of the evening, Boyfriend and I went to the tailor CK recommended to do some measurements.

We were hungry by then because it was wayyyyy past our dinner time.

Asked the friendly tailor for some food recommendation and he recommended us Kinnaree.

The place looked very atas, and we were dressed in tees and slippers. But, most importantly we have money right? =X

We took a table and placed our order.

The boyfriend ordered fruit punch and I had some refreshing cucumber juice.

Mine was really yummeh, by the way.

Unfortunately, the food wasn’t even a bit close to our liking.

Day 2

The boyfriend bought me to eat the famous Pink Shirt chicken rice for lunch! I am impressed by the boyfriend who led me likeapro.

The place was freaking crowded, and the food is say… Its below average.

After a food recharge, we went back to PM to continue shopping!

Hours later, we decided to flop down at Swensen for a break.

A must do when in BKK, even though I don’t really enjoy eating ice-creams.

Day 3

We went Chinatown! We were there really early and thank god the stalls were all open.

I had a very rich haul and the boyfriend was asking if I have plans to open a shop in Singapore.

I bought so much that I didn’t want to buy any more! We went scouting for our favourite braised goose! To our utmost shock, it wasn’t even opened for business yet! Luckily the lady boss invited us to take a seat inside while waiting.

The lady boss served us slightly earlier than her usual opening time.

We had the bittergourd soup, but it tasted really awfully bitter. I think we didn’t finish that.

As usual, we bought some local tidbits at Lin Zhen Xiang before hopping onto the cab back to hotel for a nap!

In the evening, we went back to our hotel to wait for the arrival of Kenneth and Stephanie – Alvin’s cousin and his GF.

After their check-in, we head out for dinner!

The price was reasonable, but I didn’t really fancy the food there. I wouldn’t go back unless anyone want to go.

Day 4

CHATUCHUK DAY!!!

In preparation for the heat at CTC, I wore a sleeveless dress. Its war baby!

Upon reaching, the boyfriend spotted his favourite quail eggs.

Walked further in, and I saw the frozen banana!

The frozen banana is dipped into hot chocolate and then coated with fillings you can choose from.

It tastes like ice cream except that it never melts! COOL HUH!

&… Its shopping time!

We weaved in and out of the lanes in the duper hot weather.

The coconut ice cream was not to be missed! There was bits of coconut inside the ice cream, and the ice cream was put in half of the coconut husk!

Just as we were about to leave CTC, we spotted this stall doing customised leather landyard. The boyfriend & I decided to make one each for our guy friends.

Alright, I shall stop here for now!

i didnt quite like Instagram when it first came out. i find that its a damn niusance to see it on FB and on Twitter.

i mean… i dont log on to twitter to see like 20 feeds of Instagram, and then i log on to FB, to see the SAME THING again!!!

Instagram just launched on Android, and I like this app! Works like Twitter, except that its a picture tweets.

Here’s something from me.

OH, GIVE UP.

I am just going to give up trying to catch up those missing posts the past few months.

I mean…

ITS BACK DATED SINCE AUGUST.

I haven’t been blogging for so bloody long that even WP has changed their layout. SIGH.

Can’t believe time passes so fast, and in another day, we will be counting down to Christmas, and another week to bidding farewell to 2011!

The thing I do want to blog next would be GF’s birthday! (Because that is still fresh in my head) and I can’t help it but to say…

I’M SUPER SUPER IN LOVE WITH MY NEW MOBILE PHONE!

It’s a Christmas present from Hubby Chan. I got it in white! (Truly a white Christmas)

No, I did not bully him to buying me that. He strike 4D and he said he will buy me that. Heh!

He bought me the Kate Spade eye wear which he claimed that I have been looking at EVERYDAY

THANK YOU VERY MUCH BOYFRIEND!

In case you haven’t heard, my new mobile phone is the 5.3 inches Samsung Galaxy Note. In the end, I still choose not to use any fruits products.

Downside of the phone is that, it is so incredible that I can’t stop fiddling with it, and the battery drained super fast. I have to charge on an average of 1.5x per day.

Else, it is as incredible as it could be.

Till the next update (which I hope is soon)

This is Agnes, KP’s ex PA.

Probably we can relate to one another, therefore we could hit off.

A group picture before we left for the night!

Needless to say, this was taken after they sprang out on me.

Love my cupcakes!

Take a closer look!

Thank you all for this lovely and sweet surprise!

PS: Damn annoyed at Willie because his cupcake cannot be seen!

While waiting for Jeff, we ordered appetizers!

People who were present that day were…

Yours truly, Jon, Shirley, Ben, Esa & Venga!

The last to reach was Jeff.

Somehow we learn this new lingo call 吐白沫, aka TuBaiMo, with that sign.

A group picture before we move on to another location!

Next was Ben & Jerry’s for desserts!

Jon is a crazy eater, and he did not fail to annoy everyone of us.

This dinner was planned for Andy.

Luckily for us, he did not suspect a single thing until the cake came!

A pleasant surprise for Andy!

We moved on to Clarke Quay for a round of drinks and Andy paid for it!

Very paiseh!

I made Min Hui dress up.

Much prettier!

No idea what got into the two.

Damn gay!

Very nice shot of Bertram & Min Hui!

No one was drunk, but it was a happy night out!

Meeting up soon!
